I am Nick, a new member from near Farnham, Surrey.
New to video / surveillance, although electronics is one of my hobbies... so lots to learn, and no doubt loads of queries to come...
I am collecting Hikvision kit for an eventual approx 8 camera system, and have currently got a 4TB 7616NI-E28P NVR, a 4mm 2332 dome, a 2CD2032-I 4mm mini bullet and a 2.8mm 2CD2132F-I(S) dome on the way to assess the coverage of each and to work out the most appropriate locations for each.
First query I have is " is it worth paying the extra for the UK model" of a given camera as I will need to get more in the coming weeks, and are there other PoE IP cameras I should consider ? I plan to use 2 or 3 MP settings on the cameras and some additional IR illuminators around the target areas ... any other hints and tips ?
