Hi all.

I have just bought two Hikvision DS-2CD2135F-IS cameras and loaded them with a 64gb card each.
I only want a simple setup with no NVRs etc. Powered by POE switch.
setup fine on local Ethernet with ivms software.
Is there an idiots guide to progress my setup to view cameras etc via the Internet away from home.?
I am no expert so the simple is best!

There are Hikvision tools that will help you out. Basic process is to use the SADP tool to find them on your network and then configure them via web browser. Afterwards, just port forward on your router and you should be able to access remotely. Make sure to use strong passwords to keep hackers out!
