I've been using CCTV for my residence since 2008, all analogue. I've ordered my first IP cam (HikVision DS-2CD2732F-I), and waiting for it to arrive. When the camera gets here I guess the real learning will begin... all over again. 
I've snooped about this forum a little, and so far you all seem like a friendly bunch. Hopefully I'll learn, and contribute something.
