SADP should have showed you the IP address of the camera. Compare the camera's IP address with IP address of your network NVR. Your camera possibly have a different NETWORK address.
Remember that IP cameras comes with a default IP address which often time is changed by the NVR DHCP setting. There are times, however, when a manual activation of the camera is necessary and plug and play will not help in configuring the camera.
Try plugging the camera directly into your network switch or router. You may need a 12v adapter to power the camera if your switch or router is not POE.
Then, using the SADP tool find the IP address of the camera and log directly into the camera using the camera's IP address in your browser. You should be able to make changes to the camera's network address and password making it reachable on the NVR network.

Good Luck

Plug the camera into your network.
Change the IP address of your laptop to 192.168.1.1
Open Internet Explorer (gross, i know)
Type 192.168.1.64 into the address bar

Does that bring up the camera? If you're network is already on the same subnet as your router, there could be an IP conflict with another device. Change the camera IP to something that is available.
