I'm trying to setup a new Hikvision camera with the Hik-Connect app using the official servers to avoid opening local ports, but when I connect the camera to Wi-Fi the status in the web interface is shown as "offline", and I can't add the camera via the app or website. When connected with an ethernet cable, the web interface shows "online" and everything works as intended. I found little to no information regarding this issue, only some online shop claiming it's for security purposes, though I can't think of any reason why that would be the case. Is this a deliberate choice and, if so, is there a mod or hack that I can do that would allow connecting like this?
