Hik Vision IP New Installation

Hi All,

I've a customer who wants to replace the camera's. They have more than 40 CISCO IP Camera's connected with CISCO PoE switch and Dedicated video Storage device, But they have problems after the warranty expires, They used the system past three years, and they want to change the entire system into new one.

I thoroughly examined the entire system, most of the camera's not working, there is no good monitoring options available. Even i tried to access their Video storage server by connecting a monitor from its VGA, Even monitor not displays anything.

So as their suggestion and mine, we agreed to replace the Camera's. I'm so much familiar in Dahua system, but here most of the Dahua IP products are not available, So I went of Hik Vision.

Here is the list of Items that I've planned so far

Hik Vision 4MP mini PT Camera - 30
Hik Vision 3MP vari focal Bullet Camera - 10

Hik vision 24 port PoE - 2
Hik vision DS 966 4NI-I16 NVR - 1

I planned to use the existing cables.

What I want to know is, what's the possible errors I will get if i use the above configuration, I do read some cases that there is a IP address issue is found in Hik vision IP ..

Should I go for above system, or I have to add more
