Hikvision 7616 ethernet port not working

My nvr still runs perfectly. Just the ethernet rj45 port stopped working. This happened when our building was hit by lightning.

Am comfortable working on pcb board level replacing ethernet controller chip or whatnot. I just need guidance which chip i need to try change.

No burn mark nor burnt smell
 
Which port? The LAN or one of the internal ports for the cameras? I have noticed that I can connect to NVR over a poe port as long as I add a second IP to my NIC that is in it's subnet. If you want an app for when you are not home, Splashtop or TeamViewer into your PC to view cams.

Hi there thanks for your reply!
the port I was referring to is the RJ45 port that is connected to WAN/internet. not the POE nor camera ports. This port used to work until power surge killed the port. Nothing else is dead though. recording, display, motion detection, works. Just the ethernet port is dead (along with some other appliances with ethernet port here)
