Hikvision Acusense cameras with normal NVR

I was wondering going to a Acusense enabled camera will I require an Acusense NVR to take advantage of the enhanced detection or is it like Dahua where the camera can do the processing so you can use a standard (non AI) NVR?

Hi, you can use only Acusense camera. Only thing missing on camera ( and acusense NVR/DVR has it) is min/max.

That is correct. The Acusense camera will be able to do the processing and then send the information to the NVR. Don't need an Acusense NVR. Just remember that since processing is on camera that you would do the configuration on the camera itself and not from the NVR since those options are missing.
