Hikvision continuous record/alarm input

Hi

I've been searching and can't find an answer...

I have a 7200 series hikvision dvr...

And I'm having trouble configuring constant recording along with using the alarm input to record events...

Can this dvr do this?

Any pointers?

The menu and instructions are kinda cryptic lol...
