Hello all,

I've recently purchased a Hikvision DS-2CD2632F-I and wondered if someone can help me with an infrared problem I’m having. (please attached Image)

The camera image is displaying a bright ring in the center of the image, is there anything that can be done to correct this? – I’ve adjusted the settings, but can’t seem to remove it.

Any help or suggestions on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

it's a varifocal cam and it looks like you may have it zoomed out to widest possible view.
the led's are tuned more for the middle/far end of the zoom range, i'm afraid,
and are not adjusted or adjustable with varying zoom levels.

maybe some sort of diffuser over the LED's could help?

or if the camera web UI has a "smart IR" option, you might see if that helps.
(if anything, it would just dim the IR, but may not help with the hot-spotting)

also, you might play with WDR setting for the night-time profile...

Thanks for the information guys, Looks like I made the wrong choice of camera.

Me too. The lack of evenly utilizing the IR aggravates me. Waiting for it to fail haha. It will last forever now.
