Can anyone help
I bought dvr from EBay about 2years back but never used it.
Now want to use for cctv at home.
Powers up ok but haven’t got an admin password so can’t get into menu.
Have contacted Hikvision support but they will not assist as it wasn’t purchased through one of their authorised distributors.
Have also tried to download SADP to my laptop but always shows error.
It probably wouldn’t do me much good anyway as I would still need hikvision intervention.
Anybody know of a way I can reset admin password easily or shall I just bin it and buy new.

That's a 4ch analog DVR. It only does WD1 video encoding (960x576 resolution), it can not even do 1 megapixel.

It is not worth it, throw it away and get something more current/decent.
