Hi guys wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Have the above DVR. All is fine just installed a month ago Now trying to se up IVMS 4500.

Using a Samsung galaxy and app installed. When I try to add the QR code it keeps saying ( NO SCAN RESULT )

Tried the QR code from the side of the box and also the one underneath the DVR, with the same results.

Have been told by the seller there is another in the maintenance section, but cant find it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Is there a serial number or something you can type it manually? QR Codes are usually for convenience and it probably isn't the only way.
 
cheers I got it going. the qr codes on the base and box are not working, set the ddns up manually and added the password and worked . only thing I'm thinking is if my ip address changes il lose it . that was the reason I wanted to use the qr code as it doesn't require port forwarding, will see how it goes ,

No need to port forward if ur modem have DMZ option.Just enable DMZ and enter the DVR IP address in the field thats all port forward will done.Then enable DDNS in the DVR and register the DVR in the Hik-online Site.All Done !!!
