Hikvision DS7616 NVR that my Camera 8 has no POE

Hello,

I have a 16 channel Hikvision DS7616 that had the wires to camera 8 shorted. The short has been removed but in the camera POE power menu it has locked out the power going to just camera 8.
It seems to only be a POE issue as plugging in another camera to that port and powering with a separate POE adapter it all works fine.

Is their a known way to reset power to that camera port. I've tried turning power on and off but hate to do a complete reset since I have it configured for 16 camera's and it does have a few non
Hikvision camera's that have manual setup.

The manual talks about removing camera's until the power is acceptable. My camera usage is less that 50 watts with 200 watts available so I don't see and issue.

Is anyone familiar with how to reset the POE or have any ideas as to how to recover that port. I'm currently feeding the camera with a separate POE adapter and then feeding that into camera 8.

Well I've been waiting for a good time to add another HDD so I pulled the unit. I could only see some diodes that could be checked out and I looked at all 16 and they were all good. All other
components underneath a soldered in shield to I put the HDD in and put the cover back on. Upon hooking it back up all the ports were working so I'm back in business. No idea
what I did but it's all working.
