Hikvision DVR cannot access Wifi camera

If my Hikvision DVR (iDS-7204HQHI-M1 / S) is connected to the router via a LAN cable, I can manually add EzViz WiFi cameras to the DVR. However, if the DVR is connected to the router via WiFi, I cannot add the WiFi cameras. The DVR reports "network abnormal". The camera is not reachable. My WiFi allows communication between devices (no client isolation), and WiFi and LAN devices are on the same subnet. I can access the WiFi camera's stream from my phone.

What could be causing this issue?

If you have not already done so, log into each device (DVR's LAN, each IP camera), one at a time and assign each a unique static IP, all in the same subnet as the router's LAN but outside of that router's DHCP pool.

Do this from a PC also with a unique, static IP in that same subnet as used above.

IOW, if the router's LAN IP is 192.168.1.1, I'd set the PC to 192.168.1.199, subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, no gateway or preferred DNS needed; set DVR's LAN to 192.168.1.200, camera 1 to 192.168.1.201, camera 2 to 192.168.1.202, etc.

Insure router's DHCP pool goes no higher than 192.168.1.198.

When you attempt to use the DVR with Wi-Fi, is that a USB plug in dongle?

What is the difference if I do like you suggested? If the router assigns 192.168.201 by DHCP or I do it manually?
Yes I'm using a USB Wifi dongle.

Yes I'm using a USB Wifi dongle.
How do you get the USB dongle to find your Wi-Fi's SSID and log into it, especially with the Wi-Fi's password?
