It doesn't let me upgrade my Firmware on my DS-2CD2632F-IS. Please see screenshot. How can I solve that? Quite annying ...

PS: If I update to V5.3.0 build150513, will I be able to have the menue in English?

What region is your camera? Where did you get this firmware? What is the version of the firmware you are trying to upload to the camera?

Where can I see what region the camera is? I bought it on AliExpress but I think I remembered they said EU/USA Version or whatever ...
 
I press on upgrade on the web interface and it immediately says "Upgrade failed" :sad2:
 
That is a Chinese Region camera you're running Haemse and unless you apply some fixes which have been posted here on ipcamtalk.com you're going to end up with either a Chinese language camera or with a bricked camera. The 5.3 firmware release is not recommended. There is a 5.25 firmware version which is recommended, but you need to read those threads BEFORE you proceed and further. What is wrong with your 5.1 firmware version? Why to you think you need to upgrade to 5.3 Haemse?
 
Ok, thanks for the valueable information.

I just think the logic of the web gui ist not very self explainatory ... also I hope that other browsers than internet explorer work for the web gui ... as well as a better way to download the periodic snapshots over the network ...

This specifies the Chinese version. I would recommend that you leave well enough alone. If your camera is running good there is no need to upgrade it's firmware bro.
