Hikvision NVR disk drive limits

Although there are some official limits posted out there for Hikvision equipment, I'm doubtful that any of these limits are actually hard limits. Have previously put 6TB drives into Hikvision NVRs at the time that was the biggest drive size, and didn't have any issue. Although I don't have a specific model number, I'm considering purchasing a new HikVision DeepInMind NVR iDS-7716NXI-I4/16P/X(C).

Has anyone had any experience with installing 18 or 20TB drives in their Hikvision NVR?

8TB is the limit on older than 2021 10TB is the new limit on most.

Can I confirm whether you've tested whether or not higher capacity drives actually work on either?

I've tested some that suppose to support 10TB drives and they don't. But I think its not that big of a deal it don't support those drives, because 8TB is going to be big enough for any of their single bay NVR.
