Good day to all, been a lurker a long time and have had many issues resolved by lurking, but now the time has come for me to ask a question i cannot find an answer for.
Senario:
DS-9632N-ST NVR with 32 IP Cameras and 4 2TB HDD installed.
1 of the 2TB drives started giving SMART errors and was replaced.
Questions:
How do i get the recorded footage off the drive?
If i plug the drive into a USB cradle it shows up in device management and disk configuration (Windows & Linux) as unallocated space.
What Filesystem does Hikvision use on their NVR's?
If i use any recovery software, i do not see video files, i see some exe files etc.
I know that the DS-9632N-ST has 8 Sata ports and if i plug the drive back into the NVR i would be able to download the footage, problem is the NVR is 800 kilometers away.
Thank you very much for any help that you ladies and gentlemen have to offer.
