Hello,

I have hikvision nvr DS-7608NXI-K2/8P connected directly to two 8mp DS-2CD2T87G2-LSU/SL and one 4mp DS-2CD1043G0-I cameras, I was able to connect a siren using relay module to protect the cameras from theft by configuring video tampering and loss events but when the nvr is restarted or recovering from power cutoff it throws 3 video loss one for each camera because the cameras takes a longer time to boot up after nvr provides power to them which results to siren annoying sound.

Is there a solution for this issue?

Power the camera to a POE switch or a 12v power rather then connecting to the NVRs POE port.. Another solution might be a Trigger in time option if that is something that is on your NVR.. Meaning the camera has to be offline for a set of time before the NVR would trigger the alarm output to sound your siren?

I think the first solution will work perfectly because the cameras would have boot up before NVR but I don't want to buy extra device and I can't connect the cameras to 12V directly because no power outlets nears the cameras. The second option will be best for me if it exists in the NVR configuration. I tried to play with the delay which is labeled "Dwell" in the NVR software but It just for how long the alarm will be on, and for alarm output pulse field it's not visible in the NVR but it is in the web UI and it does nothing.
