We have a 16 channel Hikvision NVR with 4 cameras. Worked perfectly but over the last month or so we've started noting at times cameras stop working (1 camera for example). Sometimes unplugging it and plugging it back in solved the issue, but having spent some time yesterday trying to debug the situation, I have found that the NVR now only allows 3 of the 4 cameras to work. Even after a restart, I can plug in (at random) 3 cameras, the 4th one is just never powered up. I can also feel a slight current when touching the backpane of the NVR leading me to believe there is an electrical fault somewhere. It does the same on all ports (all ports have POE active) and it has no preference for the cameras, any random 3 cameras will work, 4th one just stays off.
