I Have a Hikvision DS-2DE4A425iWG-E PTZ speed dome camera connected to 8ch NVR I’m unable to switch motion detection option on to this cameras saying camera doesn’t support it but surely can’t be true it’s & NVR where got Jan 2024 I have connected another standard Ip camera to Nvr & motion detection option is available for them there some setting on the Camera itself to allow it work.My initial idea was for smart motion tracking of customers front yard & lane that runs along front of house not being able to enable motion detect I haven’t even tried all the rest line crossing etc

Is NVR from HIK?
Are the camera connected to NVR using HIKVISION protocol?
Did You upgrade firmware to latest one on NVR and camera?

Last idea: setup smart motion detection using camera web panel (log to camera)..
