hikvision setup problem- no image

Hello-

I have a new DS-2CD2332-I camera and I cant seem to get an image from it.

I have changed the password and the ip address. Here is the setup screen:

Here is the live view screen: (I have the camera in a well lit room. It should have an image.)

I am probably missing something simple. Any ideas on what i should do??
I would appreciate any help.

Have you loaded the video streaming add-on "Webcomponents" or "Quicktime" for your brouser ?

yes I think I have both loaded. when I look at the add on manager in my browser, it shows QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.5 and Web Components 3.0.5.23 as "always activate".

I would try reloading Web Components

Try another computer, or perhaps another browser. For some reason, IE worked great but Firefox struggled a bit.

Thanks for the help. I got it working now.

I went into Local Configuration>Live View Parameters>Protocol.

Changed from TCP to HTTP.

Not sure exactly what this means but seems to fix the problem.
