I am attempting to get tinycam android app setup primarily so I can stream it to chromecasts, but I haven't purchased the pro version of the app yet because I can't get the free version to work correctly.
I have a hikvision system. A Hikvision DS-7616NI-Q2/16P NVR and 5 X DS-2CD2T85G1-I5 8MP.
All my various hikvision apps work flawlessly. On the tinycam app the settings are as follows.
Camera brand: Hikvision
Camera model: DS-7608NI-E2/8P
Hostname: My local NVR IP
Webport: 80 (default)
Protocol: RTSP over TCP (H264/H265)
RTSP port: 554 (default)
Use HTTPS: Yes or no, doesn't change outcome
Log on settings: My NVR Log in credentials
When I go to test the feed it results in
Secure connection: Yes
Displayed frames: 0.0 (constant)
Received Frames: (varies from 15 to 19)
Dropped Frames 100%
Resolution: -
Codec: H265 SW
