Hikvsion NVR Log : Exception 0x7b what does this mean?

Hello,

I have a Hikvision 7732NI-i4/16P NVR, and it is intermittently rebooting (once a day usually) all I seem to find in the log is this:

Exception 0x7b Local IP Camera No/;3 IP Address 192168.254.4 Domain Name: Protocol Hikvision Management port 8000Channel Port 1

Has anyone seen this before? Or knows what it means?

Okay your problem lies in hitting the max resources of NVR,

If u have a lot of cameras connected to it, it is strongly advised to change recording mode to group rather than quota.

So lets say u have 4X 4TB and 32Cameras connected. U can group cameras and assign on which disk to record.

So 4 groups by 8 to 4 disks. U wont kill 1st disk really fast and your NVR wont reboot because its hitting its max resources.
