I have been trying to get my TZ-HB612s to communicate with my Synology DS918+ but I cannot get a working RTSP url. I have root access to the cameras but my embedded firmware knowledge is lacking on how to make it support ONVIF. I think that they just basically soft disabled it because the libraries for ONVIF are in there but it just doesn't work. Does anyone with superior knowledge of Linux on these embedded devices have any ideas on how to get a non-proprietary stream out of a camera? I reached out to HiSeeU support and they say that they are sorry but they don't support ONVIF and I can only use them with Hiseeu NVRs. One thing I noticed is that they use "Anyka" IPC firmware on the devices.

If you know the IP address of the camera on your network, try the 'nmap' or 'Zenmap' programs to determine open ports on the device. Otherwise, download the open-source Onvif Device Manager program and see what it says.
