So I just got the Wink hub and got a few surprises. Any command sent to the LED or wireless device in your home, must first go to Winks server and back to the device in your home.
I feel everything should be in house and no need to go outside your own network for these commands. This does make it easier for setup with no need to port forward.
So I ask the experts in this field, is anyone aware of a hub that does not rely on an outside server/cloud and only uses your local network?
