I'm researching ideas on how I should hook up a speaker to my porch camera for intercom. Both idea will involve in using the built in Mic of a 2532. Going to be under a covered porch and California does not get extreme weather so either may work.

Option 1 a little more work involved and more costly and more effort

get a mini 12v amplifier hook it up to any speaker of choice in an plastic intercom speaker enclosure. I have yet to find any speaker enclosure w/o the bell button. Any ideas?

Option 2. A simple portable capsule speaker like the one below I can neatly hide so no speaker will be visible. It appears to be plenty loud. This one can be hooked up to a 5v power supply and just left on. Add a 3.5mm connector to the camera and simply hook it up.

What else is everyone doing? since it's going to be at the entrance of the house, I'd like it to look like it's meant to be there.
