If you have cameras operational, ask for a reduction on your house insurance premium and you might get it.
Many insurers have a reduction for a central station connected security system.
I asked and argued that a good camera system is an effective security system.
Got a net premium reduction of around 10% by way of a credit towards premium.
Enough to fund an additional camera, hopefully each year going forward.
