and why would only one of my cameras be using webcasting?
 
You didn't provide a lot of info, but you can enable/disable webcasting from Camera Properties > Webcast. If enabled you can view your cams on remote devices. The BI status window > webcast column will also show webcasting events for each camera.
 
I only found it enabled on one camera my hikvision Darkfighter PZT so I turned it off last night and I could not view that one camera on the Blueirs app on my phone, or other devices. but what is weird is I cab view the other 13 cameras that don't have it enabled. should I enable it on the other cameras?
 
You might be using camera groups with webcasting enabled....check out the help file (page 39) with regard to webcasting.
 
I would like to replace my WebcamXP software with Blue Iris to send cam streams to my website. Is the Blue Iris Webcasting option only for use with the Blue Iris app or can I connect to it from my own web page?
