How do I set up 'virtual host' to access camera settings on remote site

Hi all

I'm new to the forum and new to dahua so I thought I'd read as much as possible.

I have a question regards to accessing the IPC on board settings. How can I access the cameras settings on a remote NVR? Do I need to make sure all cameras are connected via a switch or the nvr or doesn't matter?

I use Hik and the virtual host, but not sure on the dahua.

Help would be much appreciated.
