How do you access NVR from PC, iOS?

How do i pull up a swann NVR from a PC or iPhone? For the phone it says to download the swann app but it never works and has a two star rating.

I'm guessing a NVR has it's on IP which should pull up some kind of GUI to see the cameras that are connected?

This is for work and i have very little access to anything, i don't even know the IP of the NVR but i can do a scan to find it since i do have a laptop at work on the same network.

You could locate your NVR's model here, download and install the Windows software on that laptop and try to locate it and view it.

The OEM is Hikvision, so their iVMS-4200 likely will also work.

Would SADP work? I tired IVMS-4200 and it did not see anything.

If you find the IP of a camera can you not login to it like a normal IP cam? I know the password to the NVR but they are un-able to get it to work remotely.
