How I got my QSee cams to work!

With @msquared 's help, I finally got my inoperative QSEE cams (qcn8093B) to finally show up on my NVR system (4K Ultra Scan and View, 16 channel). I was gifted this system and had issues right upon start up. Though I had the NVR pw and creds, I apparently didn't have what the NVR wanted to see from the cameras and all the testing/guessing I did eventually knocked the 6 of 13 cams that DID work initially, off the grid. I kept getting a 'invalid username or password' alert with all the hookups. There was so very little info regarding this now defunct system, and IpCamTalk was the only place anyone was even mentioning this. So, I asked. The nice folks here provided the solution and I was asked to document this for others, which I'm glad to do. So, pics below. The key for me was to REALLY look for a reset switch. Despite already understanding this beast was accessible behind the front lens assy, I still couldn't find it until msquared assured me it was there and the procedure to fix it. Which is; hold the small (in MY case black button) red button down while the cam is charged, count to 10, then unplug the cable, re-assemble the unit, and it should work. Which it did (actually, all but 1 and I suspect something else is wrong, though the small red light in the back of the cam DOES go on and off during the reset process). I now have 12 of 13 cams in glorious 8K resolution ready for deployment. I'll have to learn the rest of the system, but at least now, there's something to work with!

The procedure to find the switch; the front lens portion has a stickied bezel. This can be pried off easily by inserting a small flat screwdriver in the provided slot at the bottom. Gently lift both sides toward the top where the bezel has two small plastic protrusions as guides and orientation. The front of the cam now can be lifted away and swung to the right. At the bottom left, JUST UNDER the circuit board, there's a small black switch about 1/8" rectangular. This needs to be held in until the count of 10 (I actually went to 20 for insurance and watching the interior red light go out, sometimes it was less than 10 seconds, sometimes less than 20), then the cable unplugged and the cam reassembled. There are 4 screws holding the front part on UNDER the bezel.
