I have a couple of Hikvision cameras, and planning to acquire more. The primary use is surveillance, when I'm not at home, line cross triggers recording to NAS, and sends an alarm to iVMS-4500, which works really well. The secondary use is to trigger outdoor lights, through Node Red, node-red-contrib-hikvision-ultimate. Currently, I've configured Node Red to turn on outdoor lights on any Hikvision alarm.
Brining the information whether a resident is home to Node Red or Home Assistant is straightforward.
My questions is that is there some way to stop recording and the iVMS alarms when someone is at home and the surveillance is disarmed. It is challenging because the automation is built-in to Hikvision. I've found some outdated discussion about single key disarm on some HIkision NVRs. There is no need for a physical key, just an interface.
