How to get my NVR to recognise the Cameras?

Up until now, my 5x HikVision DS-2CD2342WD-I cameras have been connected to my home network through a switch. I've been accessing the cameras via my HikVision NVR successfully. Now my power supply failed on the switch and so I'm going to ditch the switch and plug the cameras directly into the NVR. My question is how do I get the NVR to recognise the cameras? I am a novice at this and not sure but think I will need to change the camera IP. My HikVision NVR is a model DS-7608NI-K2/8P.

Do you have a way to set the cameras back to factory defaults?
That's the best method.
Plug one camera in at a time, and wait for the NVR to configure the cam, then move on to the next cam.
