How to increase Alert videos length?

I want the Alert clips (left-side menu 'Alerts' videos) to be up to 3 mins long.

But the Alert recordings are only about 1 second long... What am I missing?

My current settings...

-Trigger-

Break Time End : 60s

Break Time Max : 180s

-Record-

Continuous sub + Triggered

Pre-trigger record : 1s

Pre-trigger playback : 2s

I just went though this myself. On the trigger tab, try setting the line under "when" to new triggers only.

I guess you have a different cause than I did for the short clips. I'm a BI novice and fumbled through this many hours. In my case I had a few cameras that did the longer clips and was able to make settings comparisons. The only obvious things between my setup and the tabs you posted are (1) On the trigger tab I have a "Minimum time since trigger" set, and (2) it looks like you're using AI, which I'm not, which opens a potential new can of worms. Do you have any camera that does longer clips? If you do you can try syncing a short-clip camera with Trigger, Record, and Alert to see if that helps. Otherwise I'd try creating a new camera in BI with default settings as much as possible and AI off to see if that helps. After that, I'm out of ideas. :(
