how to mount with metal chain doors?

cousin got these chain doors to cover her shop at night
if i mount at the green arrow, it's too low right?
i was thinking of using a long aluminum L bracket as seen in red. then mount the bullet cam to the L bracket.
or is there a better way?

Underneath that overhang is perfect, as close as you can get to face level to Identify is where you want to be. If you're trying to just detect or observe then higher is okay
