How to switch on the light of this camera IPC-Color4K-T180

I dont see light option in mobile dmss app. I am seeing light option for my ptz cameras though

This camera is designed for performance not deterrence, so the light is either on or off based on your settings. It does not have a manual "button" to turn on and off.

This doesn't help you with DMSS, but if you're into this sort of thing the light can be switched on and off with an API call.

To turn light on when in night mode:

http://admin:password@192.168.nnn.nnn/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&Lighting_V2[0][1][0].Mode=Manual

To turn light off when in night mode:

http://admin:password@192.168.nnn.nnn/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&Lighting_V2[0][1][0].Mode=Off

Edit: Ignore the clickability of the API commands. The forum did this automatically.

Thanks a lot. I am testing a new camera, since i dont see this option i thought i might me missing something or some issue with camera. Thanks for alternative will use this if required.
