How to upgrade NVR-4108-8P-4KS2?

I purchased a Dahua NVR-4108-8P-4KS2 years ago (2018?). Seems to be working OK but I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading firmware for security and other improvements in a newer firmware.
Is it possible to upgrade it to firmware V4.002.0000000.5.R.221115 in one step?

I would recommend staying with the firmware supplied.
I have a 4108 Amcrest Version, I upgraded the firmware and nothing noticeable changed.....They don't push out security updates like Windows software.....
Any firmware you upgrade to will likely be older as well....

But I’m thinking,,,, I havent seen much on the forum relating to his NVR firmware updates , but moreover I see posts about his Camera firmware updates.

Just be aware of how many come here after updating a perfectly working NVR and then something doesn't work that did previously.

Not really worth to update if you not have plan to add new cams, update to the latest fw on NVR may bring troubles to those old cams, so keep upgrade the cams and NVR at the same time.
What kind of cams you use?
