Hey guys,...saying hello from South Australia .
A few weeks ago i purchased and had installed a Dahua NVR4108-8P-4ks2 with some 5MP AI Turrets and have found myself becoming quite addicted to it so thought I'd join up. I'm a complete novice but just in the few days I've been reading posts on your forum I've learnt so much , so a big thanks already . Only problem is ...after seeing so much great equipment I feel the need to upgrade already ..LOL

Oh and BTW , I apologise in advance for all the stupid newbie Q's I'll be asking . Cheers .

Unfortunately cameras do multiply as I have these piling up, as I bench test the cams prior to installing or just to have as extras.

I started out on Foscam but soon hit the harder stuff.
IPCAMTALK said they'd stand behind me
When the game got rough.
But the joke was on me
There was nobody even there to bluff
I'm up to 8 cameras now
And I still don't think that's enough.

I started with two, ostensibly to watch the front yard because of "off roaders". Now I'm up to 13 with plans for another six or eight. The Mrs asked me what we'd do if and when we sell the house. I said leave the cameras, switches and PC as "part of the deal".
