Good afternoon! Been a lurker for some time now but just recently decided to start to do some updating to my cameras (Lorex) to actually be useful.
I have replaced the Lorex NVR and run all my cameras through a POE switch and use Blue Iris as the software on a dedicated PC (Dell Optiplex 5040). Just that small change is leaps and bounds better already! I have ordered a new camera from Empire Andy, IPC-Color4K-3.6 to replace my current driveway camera as the Lorex one is pretty much garbage when it comes to nighttime (but you guys already knew that
).
I would have never thought I would be so entertained and engulfed in the discussions around security cameras but here I am and enjoying every post I read.
