Saw this video last week and wanted to share what this specific company was tasked to do.

As it relates to rebuilding the infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and railways in many different States.

This specific vendor was tasked to build a temporary road so those isolated from either side could travel again.

The existing road more than likely will need to be evaluated as to whether it makes sense to rebuild in the same location or elsewhere.

If you read the comments in this video it’s clear the people in charge are using common sense.

There isn’t endless red tape or hundreds of meetings just to decide what to eat vs let’s get this done!

In the next few weeks I’ll high light some of the people and communities that have helped their own to get the most basic of travel.

If you have other video / news examples from the six States.

That show case how and what has been accomplished please do share. As I’m sure it will bring a small amount of happiness to those directly impacted by the hurricane! :thumb:

This is the perfect example of using out of the box thinking:

Canada standing strong and helping
America during its time of need. As we all did during any weather disaster and 9-11.

I have two cousins and a uncle who volunteered to be deployed in the four most impacted States.

Two are linemen’s and the other is an engineer that designs, develops, and deploys the power stations that handle the power transmission and step down.

This is what hard work and sweat equity looks like.

Shoveling endless amounts of mud by hand onto a sled.

One bridge at a time:

This is a very long news video that covers lots of topics and how disaster relief is being handled in one region of the State.

Along with how many local & private companies have stepped up to provide assistance, relief, and support.

This will be a very long road for all. But given the incredible support by everyone they will come through one day at a time. :headbang:

People helping people to make a difference. Communities far and wide supporting those who are in dire need.

The attached image is only one of the million examples show casing the massive devastation to the land.

Entire landscape completely collapsed and washed away. No roads, bridges, rail, or sidewalks.

This will be a very long road for the entire State.

But, progress is being made and everyone far and wide as noted on this press briefing are all in.

Nobody left behind:

Roads gone . . . Can’t get to work . . . No problem I’ll just build my own road!

A day with a linemen and some facts relating to the current situation.

80 years of power infrastructure damaged and destroyed in 24 hours.

Roads and hill sides still impassable, damaged, compromised.

Helicopter pole drop ins can’t be used in all cases due to the above environmental conditions.
