iDMSS no live feed or playback but alarm messages come through

Hello I put in this Dahua system over six months ago and running with ios DMSS system has been trouble free until in the last week while I out here at work.
I can’t play live feed or recorded, but I do get alarm messages from cams with what looks like a generic picture of and dresser and chair? Just sort of times out. Looks as if app has updated because I have new icons and I think this is where problem started.
App says DVR connect and 7 cams active.
Ideas?
 
I am having same issue. Its the app, Dahua have admitted there are some bugs, cant say any more. Expect an update on the app in the next few days

How did you go with the new 1.99.610 update MC? Updated mine still the same, deleted app and re- installed, nada
