iDMSS oddity

A friend of mine installed and setup iDMSS on his iPhone. He was getting alert and video of the IVS event triggers for about two week with no problems then the video stopped coming however he was still getting alert. When he select the alert, it goes to playback but he get a blank screen and a message in upper left corner of screen "unable to download"

I had him rebooted everything, even reinstall the app and he still getting alerts but when he select the alert, it give him unable to download error. He installed it on his other iPhone and also his wife iPhone still same error. He tried both with and without wifi (cellular only)

But here the kicker, when he contacted me about his problem and I setup his security camera system information on my iDMSS, I am able to get alert + recording of the event every time with no problem.

We have been going over it for hours back and forth trying to figure out why is he and his other family members get error downloading video while it working fine on my iPhone.

Anyone have any idea what may be causing this error for my friend or what to check to resolve this?

iDMS plus is with push and alarmsetting.

Only one user on the system can use it.
So on your phone you should try to disable the push alert and alarms.

Your friend’s phone is then able to receive the alerts.

My bad There seem to be a breakdown in communication between us. He kept saying video but it was snapshot that not working. His video is working fine.

Only one user on the system can use it.
So on your phone you should try to disable the push alert and alarms.

Your friend’s phone is then able to receive the alerts.

I am very aware what iDMSS is and I been using it for long time.

We have iDMSS working fine on more than 1 phone. My mistake was my friend kept calling it "video" when it was the image (snapshot) that was not working so I mistaken his problem was the video playback not the snapshot playback.
