Hi, so I got one of these kits for a quick spin, just to see what it can do, and thought I'll share my findings shortly with you here.
The doorbell, to begin with, has no option to connect to wifi directly, it is bound to the chime which acts as a range extender for the doorbell, and is also its DVR.

Additionally, the chime is detected as a DVR in SmartpSS. And when the doorbell detects movement/button pushed > the video stream becomes active too, so it could also be recordable. I was not able to access the recordings on the chime/DVR itself from SmartPSS, so maybe if you are a Dahua fan you can figure it out. I also didn't try to register it via the DMSS app (I used Imou app), but that might also work.
The most interesting thing, if one of you will be able to solve in the future, is if you can somehow find the setting to keep the stream always on? I was hoping the transformator might trigger it, but it doesn't, it just loads the battery.
Another question I couldn't answer was why does the manual shows us how to bypass the mechanical wired chime (see step B-9)? What would be the point of having the chime in the electrical circuit if the doorbell is unable to trigger the dong anyways?

Interestingly, the chime has ONVIF but further I was not able to see live steam on ODM, even when the battery operated doorbell was streaming. Events also didn't seem to load. So unless you know how to troubleshoot this NVT to be used with BI, I suggest staying away from this model unless you are fine with just the imou app (which is great btw).

The video quality is great, and the night vision has been improved significantly from their previous models. Overall a nice wireless doorbell for someone who doesn't use an NVR like BI etc., and I especially liked that the Micro SD is in the chime, which allows you to (possibly) still see the person that broke/stole the doorbell, if it ever comes to that.
