Initial Setup of new NVR from Andy

Just sitting down to setup a new NVR from Andy.

EmpireTech NVR16CH-16P-2AI 16 Channels 1U 16PoE 2HDD Network Video Recorder​

The online Quick Start and the Manual are outdated. Andy says there is a new GUI.

Any idea what Type (Date or Week), Start Time, and End Time are related to? Is Type related to the Start and End Times?

That is your Date and TIme so it can update for the 2 times a year Time Change.. Nothing outside of just TIME

There is no/off switch. What if you wanted to set it up. They must have put it in for a reason.

Mine is different than what the guy in the video covers. New GUI

Thats a toggle next to DST I'm pretty sure.

If you’re in the US as it says. Turn the switch on, select week. Select Sunday
Start Mar 2nd 02:00
End Nov 1st 02:00
You’re telling it to start dst the 2nd Sunday in March at 2am and end the 1st Sunday in November at 2am
