Could anyone give me a recommendation on the best way to make a connection in a high temperature environment?

We are planning to install two POE cameras on an unoccupied gatehouse in Scottsdale, AZ, with the NVR located inside. The ambient outside temperatures in the summer are high. In July of 2023, for example, the high temperature was over 105 degrees on all but one day, and on 12 days it was over 110 degrees. On 5 days that month the temperature topped out at 113 degrees. The temperatures inside the closed guardhouse are of course even higher.

So should we be looking at a fiber connection, or an LTE / 5G connection? And if a fiber connection, what Optical Network Terminal (ONT) would anyone recommend that will operate at those high temperatures, and if an LTE / 5G connection, what cellular modems would anyone recommend?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Lot of variables. High temps, humidity and dust are a trifecta for failure.
