Question for you guys, with the upcoming demise of Internet Explorer on June 15th what browser are you guys planning to use for configuring camera settings? I've tried Chrome and it half way works, I can log into the camera but can't get into the settings, so it's not gonna work for me once IE is no longer accessible

Except Dahua PTZs won't hold settings with Pale Moon.
I have an old laptop that has zero internet access, so it will continue to have IE on it!

Pale Moon doesn't work at all with my Dahua NVR running V4 firmware. With the color4k-x it appears to work, but has very slow response time. With IE the response is nice and quick.
Won't there be copies of IE laying around that people can install if needed?

The key is to keep Win10 as long as possible, shut off Windows updates, and go into Task Scheduler and delete/disable any items Windows has added that will switch to Edge and remove Explorer.
They have now made it so you cannot uninstall Edge, but then they also snuck in some Task Schedulers that run constantly. Some on my computer are running every hour and some are once a day.
They are looking for Edge updates every 12 hours and I bet one day will just wipe Explorer off your computer.
I was wondering why Edge kept updating and kept opening up when I would open Explorer.
So for those of us that lock down and disable Windows Updates, be sure to check your Task Scheduler for any updates they have hidden here.

I thought the same thing, no way they would make IE inaccessible, that they'd only stop support for it, but Microsoft has said the following "Microsoft will push out a Windows Update that completely removes Internet Explorer from Windows 10 devices altogether and redirects users to Edge if they try to access the app. "

Should also be able to STOP and DISABLE the "Windows Update" service (from services.msc or from Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services, etc.)
I hope Dahua comes up with newer releases that work with Edge/Chrome/Firefox before IE11 goes away.

Most of our cams can support Edge well now, firmware after later 2021.
The problem with that is most of us do not want to upgrade firmware that is not broken. It is a bummer that we will be forced to do just that since MS has decided to kill IE.

Might make a case for an old laptop with Windows 7 or 8 laying around.
I have yet to have an issue with IE Tab on any of my Dahua, Sibell, or Hik stuff that is out there.
No PTZ. The other thing you can try is from the Chrome store they have their own app.
Try that if you haven't. I don't care for it, but I also have been able to use IE Tab or IE without issue.
