ip address will not save in SmartPSS

I have 16 DVR's (not NVR's) in SmartPSS. We recently changed our network configuration and therefore each DVR was assigned a new (static) ip address. I add each one either with Manual Add (by entering ip address, port, UN/PW) or by using AutoSearch. Either way, all the DVR's show up in the list and are online. However when I close SmartPSS and reopen it, the ip address in the SmartPSS software (NOT in the DVR) has reverted to the previous ip address assigned to each DVR. Note that the DVR's are all set to static, and their ip on the network is NOT changing. It is only the ip in the SmartPSS software. Therefore all the cameras are off line - until I change the ip's back to the new ip. Anyone know why SmartPSS would not save the ip assigned, but instead keep reverting to previous ip assigned?

Did you manually change the existing entries for these DVRs in SmartPSS or did you "Add" new entries?
If the latter, did you first delete the old entries and close and reopen SmartPSS to verify they were gone?

I tried both ways: First by manually changing the existing entry in SmartPSS. Second, by adding new entries however I did NOT delete the existing entry first; I simply renamed the new entry. After your suggestion I have now deleted an entry (clicked the trash can, selected Delete Snapshot as well; the entry disappears), closed and reopened SmartPSS and it is NOT deleted. So why will it not delete?

I just did that and can't reproduce your problem of them reappearing..

Try deleting one, closing the application, and reopen and see if its gone. I know some settings in SmartPSS dont fully save until you close the application

Ugg I see you said you did that.. hmmm stumped

Thanks, I had already tried that. Now I deleted one with the trash can and one with the "Delete" button at the top of the Devices screen. Shut down SmartPSS, restarted, they are both still there. Tried a second time, shut down SmartPSS, rebooted PC, restarted, and they are both still there! I have also made sure that all users have Full control permission of the QC View folder

it looks like SmartPSS can't save his config file...
so You come back to some old configuration at each reload...

did you install it as administrator and use as different user?

You can try to uninstall it (all versions) from computer...

and then install a fresh one and start from scratch.

ps. be aware that new versions of SmartPSS have low limits of supported cameras...
