hi, I have a dahua XVR5116HS-X with two cameras connected IPC-HFW2230S-S-S2. All products are dahua except ahd cameras. There is a jerky video problem with ip cameras when I watch the video on the monitor connected to the dvr. This problem is only with ip cameras, not ahd. There is a solution?

only in live mode from dvr. The recordings no problems. Live/recording in Smartpss is ok.

Hmmmm that’s odd, that xvr should easily handle live view of a 2MP camera. I have 2 XVR s that run fine with multiple 4MP cams.

it shouldn’t matter but make sure the cams are set to match the XVR either ntsc or pal

every 10 seconds there is a little jerky , it's not a big deal but it's annoying.

:idk: Unless its an issue with the monitor itself? Using thr HDMI or serial port? Maybe try the other?

in the cam settings i tried:
change of codecs
change of resolution
change of bitrate
type of encoding
also i did other tests on the xvr parameters.
I also reset everything, but the problem remains.

I'm stumped. Unless its the monitor. I use Smartpss and havent used the direct machine interface in some time.
