IP Cam Only Connects Via Lan and Not Directly To Dahua NVR

Hi

Dahua NVR Model: NVR4116HS-8P-EI
Tiandy Camera Model: TC-C321N



I have a Dahua NVR and 2 Dahua cameras connected via POE directly to the NVR
I also have a Tiandy camera which I am struggling to connect to the NVR even though both support ONVIF

NVR --> Cam
I first tried connecting via POE directly to the NVR with no luck. The NVR would show POE power used on that port and the IR light switched on on the camera but it would not show when trying to add the camera via searching or manually

NVR --> LAN --> Switch --> Cam
I have also tried using a POE switch and connected that to the lan and the Tiandy camera. With this I was able to access the camera directly as well as via the NVR and the picture was fine. However this runs the cameras off of my local lan/router which I don't want.

I have also tried connecting the switch to the NVR and the Tiandy camera to the switch but this doesn't work either

How can I get the Tiandy cameras to work directly with the Dahua NVR over POE and ONVIF

You need to assign the camera the same IP subnet that the NVR POE port is assigning. Typically a 10.x.x.x. subnet.
