IP camera that sends image to server

Hello folks.
I have very limited knowledge on security cameras but i have to develop an app that can show who came in and out from images that cameras have sent.

I can use cameras with their own app.
But I really need to integrate this feature to a personal company app that has more job-related features in it.
So what's the solution?

Are there cameras that send image over ftp server everytime it takes picture so the app can fetch it?
Or is there any other easier way?

Running Blue Iris is pretty easy and you can download video from its web interface. It can also upload alert images via FTP or send them via email.

I have cameras from Amcrest and Dahua. They can both upload to a NAS, FTP or local SD card. I have one Hikvision camera and it can upload to a NAS or SD card.
